Entertainment One has secured a raft of new UK broadcast and licensing partners for its hit pre-school TV series PJ Masks.

The slate of new deals arrives as the property prepares for the debut of its first toy line here in the UK this February.

To coincide with the launch, broadcast exposure will be boosted when the series launches on Sony Pictures Television Networks’ Tiny Pop on February 25th this year.

The show currently airs on Disney Junior in the UK where it continues to rank as one of the channel’s top performing shows.

In the toy space, VTech and LeapFrog have teamed with eOne for a range of electronic toys covering the VTech Innotab and DigiGo platforms as well as LeapPad, Epic and LeapStart.

Meanwhule, Ravensburger will develop a range of puzzles and games to launch this July.

Elsewhere, Roy Lowe will launch a line of PJ Masks socks from October and William Lamb will introduce a limited range of bags for back to school later this year.

Dreamtex will introduce children’s bedding from October while Zak has been signed for lunchware products.

Katie Rollings, head of UK licensing at Entertainment One, said: “PJ Masks is capturing the imaginations of kids and families across the UK and we’re delighted that more children will have the chance to watch the show when it premiere on Tiny Pop.

“The consumer demand for merchandise is building rapidly and with the highly anticipated toy launch just around the corner, we’re thrilled to be welcoming a range of new partners that will bring the action-packed, heroic adventures of the PJ Masks trio to life for fans of the show.”

The master global toy line will be distributed in the UK by Flair’s Just Play division and the initial products hitting shelves next month include plush, vehicles, action figures and dress-up.
