Entertainment One has teamed with BRMalls to deliver a host of Peppa Pig activities to shopping malls across Brazil.
The two firms will work closely together develop the project that already includes two confirmed activities within Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Rio de janeiro, Campe Grande, Uberlandia, Londrina, Manaus, Vila Velha and Salvador.
Peppa Pig premiered in Brazil on cable TV in May 2013 where it shot to success to become the number one show in its time slot and segment.
“We are certain that Peppa Pig attraction throughout BRMalls will be a huge hit with Peppa Pig fans and their families,” said Maria Fernanda De Paoli, head of marketing at BRMalls.
“Our agreement with eOne offers a real life experience for Peppa Pig fans who would usually only be able to engage with the character through the award-winning television series.”
Celso Rafael, vice president of Exim Group Licensing, representatives of Peppa in Brazil, added: “Peppa Pig and friends quickly caught the imaginations of pre-schoolers in Brazil and is now the leading pre-school license in the country.
“Our strategy is to continue to build the brand year on year and establish it as an evergreen. Our partnership with BRMalls is a fundamental part of our expansion plan for Peppa.”
