Entertainment Rights has inked a deal for the distribution rights for the new Transformers Animated series in Latin America.
As well as the 26x22-minute series, the deal also includes a 70-minute special episode.
The agreement builds on ER's announcement earlier this year for securing worldwide television distribution rights (excluding North America) and covers TV distribution across both free and Pay TV platforms.
Transformers Animated is due to debut in early 2008 in the US. Developed for a new generation of fans, it will introduce new characters alongside the popular Optimus Prime and Megatron.
