Everlast brand inks DTR with Sears

Sports and fitness property seals deal for apparel, footwear and accessories with US retailer.

The global fight sports and fitness brand Everlast has secured a direct to retail agreement with high profile US retailer, Sears Holdings.

Everlast has given Sears Holdings the US licence for the brand in 850 Sears stores, plus the Everlast Sport brand in over 1,000 Kmart outlets. Product will also be available online.

The long-term deal gives Sears and Kmart the right to Everlast for apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and children.

The stores will launch the brand across the US from spring 2011.

"As we continue to celebrate our 100-year anniversary, we could not be any more proud to announce this landmark agreement for the Everlast brand with Sears and Kmart," said Neil Morton, CEO of Everlast. "The brand will have unprecedented retail distribution and marketing in the apparel, footwear and accessories categories."
