A collection of official FA licensees were given an update on recent commercial activities at a special communication day held last week at Wembley Stadium.
Some 70 partners gathered to hear The FA's business development manager, Kevin Hall, talk more about the programme. In addition, Nicola Lord, senior commercial manager at CPLG Sport and Ian Wickham, the firm's retail manager, presented the latest licensing programme and retail activity.
Licensees were also given a tour of the venue, taking in the dressing rooms and player tunnel, as well as standing on the pitch.
"We are already seeing increased sales of official licensed product and by holding events such as the licensee communication day, we are aiming to ensure coordination among our partners to maximise the great opportunities that the next few months are going to bring," said Lord.
Attending licensee, David Aykroyd of Aykroyds, added: "I personally find days such as this one invaluable; a real chance to get up to speed with the latest commercial news from the licensor and a chance to mix with other licensees. It's amazing how many opportunities can arise from these events."
