Fox Consumer Products is teaming up with some of the biggest names in fashion for a raft of new merchandising campaigns.
The new approach will usher in partnerships with global fashion names such as Dolce & Gabbana, Benetton, H&M, Forever 21 and C&A.
The programme will kick off with Dolce & Gabbana creating a line of infant summer clothing for Rio, using the vibrant colours associated with the hit animation. The same colourful style will be represented by Benetton as it takes its universal approach to The Simpsons, with a line under the Sisley brand that will launch for autumn/winter.
The line will be followed with a spring/summer collection in 2013.
Finally, Forever 21 will offer an assortment of The Simpsons tees for men and women.
Long-term global partner H&M will introduce new branded collections for every season, starting with The Simpsons-themed boys wear for spring/summer. The retailer will also roll out a line of Ice Age t-shirt designs, followed by a new collection of men's Family Guy tees.
Following the success of its last Ice Age collection, C&A is back on board with a DTR deal for the latest film. It will also launch its first every boys wear collection for The Simpsons this winter.
"These deals represent both the versatility of these great properties and our willingness to take them to a new and exciting level," said Jeffrey Godsick, president of FCP.
