First Chupa Chups partners revealed

Fluid World signs apparel, cosmetic and toiletry licensees in the UK and Ireland.

The signing of a brace of new partners has kicked off the licensing programme for the Chupa Chups brand in the UK and Ireland.

Fluid World has appointed Fashion Lab to develop a line of fashion apparel for teen girls and young adults. The collection will include daywear, nightwear and underwear, as well as a capsule line of men's tees with a retro appeal.

In addition, a range of cosmetics and toiletries from Poolebeck will launch next year.

The line will include lip glosses, bubble bath and accessories.

Both licensees will take inspiration from the extensive collection of artwork, as well as the logo designed by Salvador Dali in 1969.

"The breadth and quality of artwork available for Chupa Chups means it has potential to build into an extensive licensing programme and evolve over time," said Libby Grant, brand director at Fluid World. "Our first partners have great experience of working with brands and some really exciting ideas within their categories.

"With a number of partners in the pipeline we expect Chupa Chups to be making a significant impact at retail in 2012."
