The first US licensees have been revealed for the best selling book franchise, Fifty Shades of Grey... and there's not a nipple clamp, whip or paddle in sight.
CopCorp has signed up a trio of partners in the territory.
Freeze Clothing will be producing t-shirts, fasion knit tops and hoodies for the US and Canada. Products will be available for both men and women.
HYP has secured the rights for a hosiery line, which will include stockings, garter sets and printed tights among other lines.
Finally, Briefly Stated will launch Fifty Shades of Grey women's daywear, loungewear and sleepwear.
"Interest in the Fifty Shades of Grey licence has been extraordinary," said Carole Postal, president of CopCorp. "Over the past two months since our appointment as North American agent was announced, we've worked closely with London-based global agent Caroline Mickler, along with author E L James and her literary agent to make sure we select the right licensing and retail partners for the brand."
