TV-Loonland and toy firm Martin Yaffe will be showcasing the new spring/summer and autumn/winter lines of Little Princess toys at Toy Fair later on this month.

The first range is due to arrive in-store at the end of February under Yaffe's Born to Play brand.

It will be made up of character beanies, plush toys, a musical TV which plays the show's theme tune and inflatables. Meanwhile, outdoor items will include an inflatable space hopper and bouncy castle. There will also be a Nessie Stick Horse, inflatable spray pool and a selection of wheeled toys.

The line's hero item is the Little Princess Castle playset, which is a replica of the castle from the TV series.

"Little Princess has an extremely loyal fanbase which is rapidly increasing judging by the fantastic ratings the show is pulling all key markets, including the UK," said Olivier Dumont, MD of TV-Loonland. "The creativity and quality of the first toy samples we have seen come out of Martin Yaffe are absolutely stunning. They love and care about Little Princess and it shows."

Featuring the voice talents of Jane Horrocks and Julian Clarry, the animated series is based on the best selling books by Tony Ross. It is currently airing as part of Five's Milkshake block and has been sold in over 150 countries to date.
