Massively multiplayer online games firm Gazillion Entertainment is to showcase its Super Hero Squad Online title at the upcoming Penny Arcade Expo.
The company will debut the game's new collectible card player versus player (PvP) system. One of the key pillars of the online browser-based game, players will be able to build their own personalised decks with Marvel Super Heroes and powers, pit them against friends and earn rewards to use in the game.
In addition, players will be able to earn more cards by completing quests and mini games or by purchasing limited edition cards online.
Gaziilion will be hosting a special tournament at the show to help celebrate the launch.
"Having a collectible card game as the PvP element is a great way for Marvel fans of all ages to enjoy PvP in Super Hero Squad Online," commented Jason Robar, VP and studio manager for The Amazing Society.
