Designed to 'evoke the passion and enthusiasm exhibited by football fans around the globe', the first official FIFA Store has opened its doors in Singapore Changi Airport.
The outlet features five unique FIFA-branded apparel lines, authentic FIFA World Cup merchandise and popular football-themed apparel and footwear from Adidas.
Each FIFA line - Editions, Code, Trophy, Events and Sports Graphics - has been designed to appeal to a variety of football fans, male and female from all age groups.
Further stores are now being planned in London, Tokyo and Los Angeles, as well as emerging markets like Latin America, China and India. There will also be a web-based e-commerce store front on FIFA.com, which is expected to open in the autumn.
"Fans now get the opportunity to buy year-round a unique piece of football experience," said Mohammed bin Hammam, FIFA executive member and AFC president. "FIFA and its various World Cup events become part and parcel of people's everyday lives in the official store which is only the first of many more to follow."
