Fluid World appoints Matthew Conrad as COO

Joins the team following the departure of director Libby Grant at the end of last year.

Fluid World has strengthed its team with the arrival of Matthew Conrad as chief operating officer.

Conrad (pictured) arrives at the agency following the departure of director Libby Grant at the end of 2013.

He will be responsible for leading the development of Fluid World's portfolio and overseeing the business, reporting to CEO Andrew Lane.

Conrad brings with him a wealth of experience from inside and outside the licensing business, returning to the industry after a brief sabbatical where he spent time pursuing other interests including graphic design.

His previous roles have included director of consumer products at JCB, establishing M&C Saatchi Brand Licensing and as an IP solicitor at Clifford Chance and Rouse & Co.

Lane commented: "We are delighted to welcome Matthew to the team and look forward to the leadership and wealth of experience he will bring to the role."

Fluid turned out to be very appropriate name for the company formed earlier this year by Hasbro?s licensing director Andrew Lane and former Manchester United licensing chief Tom Howgate.
