UK brand licensing agency, Fluid World has been appointed to develop an extensive licensing programme for the popular published title, Goose.

A hit with pre-schoolers across the UK, The Goose series tells a story of a friendship between a girl called Sophie and Goose as they embark on a world of adventures with Ben, Lucy Goat Cat and Mouse.

Written by celebrated children’s author Laura Wall and published by Harper Collins, Goose has sold over 53,000 copies nationwide to date.

“It’s great to be working with Laura,” said Sarah Fletcher, general manager of Fluid World.

“She is a very talented illustrator and artist and we have some fantastic projects lined up already for the Goose brand. We are thrilled to be representing a pre-school property that perfectly appeals to the market.”

Wall added: “I couldn’t think of a better company to represent Goose. They are the perfect match for Goose as a youthful, fresh and energetic company.

“The team at Fluid have so much enthusiasm and passion for the brand and are sympathetic to my vision for Goose – we have a lot of exciting ideas going forward.”

Fluid World

Fluid turned out to be very appropriate name for the company formed earlier this year by Hasbro?s licensing director Andrew Lane and former Manchester United licensing chief Tom Howgate.
