FremantleMedia Enterprises has expanded its deal with Discovery Communications to represent a number of its brands across the UK and parts of Europe.
The agreement builds on the company's relationship in North America, where FME already represents brands including American Chopper, Miami Ink and LA Ink.
In addition, FME will be representing Deadliest Catch across parts of Europe.
FME is now looking for licensing partners in various categories including consumer products and merchandise, live events, publishing, sponsorship and interactive.
"The Discovery brands are distinctly unique, offering licensees a breadth of opportunities, and we're looking forward to growing the licensing programme so fans can engage with these shows beyond the TV screen," said Mark Newton, EVP licensing EMEA, FME. "One of our strengths is that our network of global licensing experts has already worked with Discovery in America, so FME has a built-in and extensive knowledge of their appeal for fans already."
Jo Edwards, VP, international consumer products, Discovery Enterprises, added: "Entertainment properties achieve a strong fan base, many of whom want to engage with the property through owning and wearing associated products."
