FremantleMedia Enterprises will be working with Robert Irwin and Random House Australia, after the youngest member of the Irwin family signed up for his first publishing deal.

Due to roll out in March 2013, the series will be called Robert Irwin: Dinosaur Hunter. It will include eight fiction books and one bumper non fiction title.

The 96-page fiction books will be illustrated throughout, with a special fact file section at the end showcasing real life information about the dinosaurs featured in each book.

FME holds a global partnership agreement with Australia Zoo and the Irwin family to develop new worldwide opportunities for TV and licensing.

"Robert's books are set to be a new dinosaur sensation," said FME VP consumer products, Hannah Laird.
