FremantleMedia Enterprises is teaming up with Stardoll as part of its online marketing campaign for Rebecca Bonbon.
A special fashion design contest will run on the virtual world, with the winner getting the chance to have a virtually-created design sold offline as part of an upcoming Rebecca Bonbon apparel line, available through Kmart.
The competition is only open to US residents, with details of how to enter available on Stardoll shortly.
In addition, members of the Stardoll community will be invited to join the Rebecca Bonbon club, giving them access to unique virtual products and prizes, a 'Me Doll' section and exclusive video content.
The new online marketing campaign for Rebecca Bonbon coincides with the 2011 back to school line which is currently available in Kmart.
"Rebecca Bonbon is an emerging global fashion brand, as well as the most stylish French Bulldog on the planet," said David Luner, EVP, consumer products, interactive and mobile, FME North America. "We are confident that Stardoll's targeted membership will embrace this one of a kind fashion driven contest, allowing them to have a truly engaging brand experience."
Stardoll was launched in 2006, has more than 121 million registered users globally and reaches over 18 million unique users per month.
