Fox Consumer Products SVP and MD, Carl Lumbard, has cited Kinnerton's confectionery lines as an "important anchor" for The Simpsons' licensing campaign in the UK - as the two firms celebrate 15 years of working together on the property.
The partnership has resulted in Kinnerton ranking as one of FCP's most successful all time licensees in the UK.
It has worked with The Simpsons since 1996, producing more than 50 different products, some of which have continued season after season. Notably, The Simpsons advent calendar ranks consistently in the top three bestsellers in the market.
Kinnerton has confirmed its long-term commitment to The Simpsons until at least 2014.
"We don't foresee a time when The Simpsons won't be a part of our portfolio," said Rachel Wyatt, marketing director at Kinnerton. "Fox is unique in the way it manages the brand. We are able to work very closely with the creative team on new product development and the licensing team is very open to ideas.
