Fox has revealed more details on the upcoming Family Guy/The Simpsons crossover episode.

Set to air in autumn 2014, the Family Guy episode will see the Griffins end up in Springfield and meet the Simpsons.

Titled 'The Simpsons Guy', the episode will see Peter and Homer fight over the best beer in town, Pawtucket vs Duff.

Elsewhere, Stewie becomes obsessed with Bart, Lisa takes Meg under her wing to find something at which she excels while Marge and Lois ditch housework to bond.

“Fox hasn’t spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping,” said Peter Griffin.

Homer Simpson added: “Finally I can get my hands on this guy."
