Fox strikes Typhoo deal

Horton Hears A Who promotion to feature on special packs of tea.

With the popular story from Dr Seuss hitting cinema screens later this year, 20th Century Fox Animation and Typhoo have joined forces for a special promotion.

Typhoo – or ‘Tywhoo’ as it’s been dubbed – is aiming to use the mass family appeal of the CG animation to reinforce Britain’s favourite beverage to consumers of all ages. Special 160 teabag packs will contain a free cuddly Horton, while the 80-pack will offer consumers the chance to win a family break at a UK safari park.

Meanwhile, caterers who buy a case of Typhoo 1100s, 250s or 100s string and tea bags can claim a free cinema ticket. All those that enter will then be placed into a prize draw to win an elephant safari holiday in India.

The promotion is also being supported by a wide range of above and below the line advertising and promotional activities.
