ER Productions, the producer of pre-school animation Musti, has hired Stephanie Goldman as the French rights agency for the growing brand.
Musti is an animated kitten, created in 1969 by Belgian graphic artist Ray Goossens. It has since been turned into a 52-episode TV show aimed at two to six year olds.
Goldman will be working on developing the brand in France through a licensing drive including educational games, toys and apparel.
"It's such an honour to represent Musti in France," said Goldman. "This little kitten represents great values such as family, friendships, education and training throughout life."
Fran Uyttendaele, director of ER Productions, added: "With demonstrated success in Belgium and the Netherlands, we look forward to working with Stephanie Goldman and her team in developing a plan to expand Musti into new categories."
