Fremantle is expanding the licensed retail portfolio for Baywatch ahead of the film's launch on May 29th with products lines in apparel, swimwear, toys and games. The firm will be taking this robust portfolio to Licensing Expo 2017.

In the UK, licensees Smiffys, Trademark, Roy Lowe & Sons, BC International, Somerbond. Euro. Prosem and UK Printwear will be launching their lines of dress-up, T-shirts, socks, underwear, swimwear, ladies hoodies and shorts across a range of key retailers including George at ASDA, Primark, Penneys Zara, Mango and HMV. These new lines are in addition to the myriad of Baywatch products already available to consumers including stylized figures from Funko. Mitch Buchannon and C.J. Parker are currently sporting their iconic red swimsuits and rescue floats in the company’s collectable vinyls.

This spring will see the launch of a new Baywatch line of apparel and accessories for men, women and juniors at Forever 21 retail locations across the US. The collection includes Baywatch branded T-shirts, tank tops, fleece, novelty tops, lounge pants, shorts, sweaters, hats, outerwear, socks, beach towels and swim suits. Also in Spring, Tipsy Elves will be hitting the sand with their own line of apparel available online.

In Australia, Jay Jays will be launching Baywatch graphic tees from Mitch Dowd in May, and Caprice will be creating outerwear for Big W this summer.

“There’s no brand that encompasses the Southern California lifestyle like Baywatch,” said Andrea Brent, senior vice president of Licensing & Franchise Management, FMNA. “The product options are endless with this classic brand that has had such a huge impact on pop culture throughout the years.”

By Autumn, fans will still be hitting the Baywatch beach as costumes from Spirit Halloween appear at retail.
