FremantleMedia Enterprises has signed a deal with Giochi Preziosi for popular kids’ TV show Tree Fu Tom.
Under the terms of the agreement, toy firm Giochi will manufacture and distribute a range of Tree Fu Tom toys such as action figures, play-sets, role-play products and vehicles in the UK and Europe.
Giochi will also have the exclusive rights to manufacture licensed products for sale anywhere in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
FremantleMedia also announced Tree Fu Tom has been acquired by Switchover Media in Italy, NRK in Norway, YLE in Finland, Knowledge Network in British Columbia, BBC Kids in Canada and VRT in Belgium.

Giochi Preziosi’s licensing director Graziano Delmaestro added: “Tree Fu Tom will be a significant and valuable addition to our portfolio for younger children. With its developmental aspects Tree Fu Tom is both loved by children and trusted by parents, and we naturally feel privileged to be working together with FME and CBeebies on the project.”
Tree Fu Tom has become CBeebies’ No.1 show of 2012.
