Gameloft picks up Hasbro game licences

App developer signs deal to make mobile games based on Hasbro's girls brands.

Renowned French app developer Gameloft has signed a deal with Hasbro to make a pair of mobile games for My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop. 

Gameloft plans to release the Hasbro-branded titles before the end of this year.

"Creating highly inventive and accessible digital play experiences based on our world class brands continues to be at the core of Hasbro's mission," said Mark Blecher, SVP of digital media and marketing at Hasbro.

"We envision Gameloft to be a key player in the ongoing execution of that global strategy."
