Garfield nightwear to hit retailers courtesy of Poeticgem

A new range of Garfield inspired men’s nightwear is set to hit retailers, courtesy of apparel specialists, Poeticgem.

In its partnership with Bulldog Licensing, the clothing firm will draw on the heritage of the Garfield brand that was first introduced through a cartoon strip in 1978.

Today, Garfield holds the Guinness World Record for the most syndicated cartoon strip, featuring in over 2100 newspapers across the globe, as well as numerous book titles that have sold over 200 million copies globally.

Poeticgem joins an expansive portfolio of licensees for Garfield merchandise.

“Garfield has consistently been a big seller in the apparel sector and I am sure this nightwear range will be hugely popular, particularly given Poeticgem’s excellent track record,” said Rob Corney, MD of Bulldog Licensing.
