Gatorade is teaming up with golf superstar Tiger Woods to develop a line of sports beverages.
Woods has helped choose three new Gatorade flavours which will be launched in March under the name Gatorade Tiger and packaged in bottles that highlight the golfer's name.
This is Chicago-based Gatorade's first licensing agreement, with Woods getting royalties from sales of the drink.
Woods has won 13 major golf championships and was the top earning athlete on Forbes magazine's most recent Celebrity 100 list, raking in $100m last year, $90m of which came from endorsements and appearances.
"Tiger has been on our radar screen for a long time," said Jeff Urban, Gatorade's senior VP of sports marketing.
