TV-Loonland's Little Princess is continuing to attract healthy audiences in Germany on children's channel KIKA.
The award winning animation series aired daily in the 6.40pm slot on KIKA in September and saw it improving on its ratings from the previous month.
With a market share of up to 85.5 per cent with girls aged three to six, the series is ranked as one of the most successful children's programmes on the German channel. Up to 510,000 children from three to 13 (240,000 girls between three and six) tuned in to watch the show (source: Media Control).
During September, Panini launched the Little Princess magazine, with the next issue due to roll out in November.
Bernd Conrad, head of licensing and merchandising at TV-Loonland, said: "The ratings are a clear indication of the popularity of the Little Princess show amongst young children, as well as the show's flexibility to appeal to different nationalities worldwide. We plan to continue to build on this success moving forward both on and off-air."
