Germany's m4e acquires 100 per cent rights to popular Mia and Me brand

The German brand management and media company m4e AG has acquired 100 per cent of the rights to the international series Mia and Me.

The company – having kicked off the year as part of Studio 100 – acquired the rights from its co-production partner Gerhard Hahn and Hahn Film AG. The deal now puts m4e in full control of the Mia and Me brand.

The series has been successfully broadcasted all over the world and currently ranks among the most popular brands for girls in Germany.

A fourth season of the show is currently in product with 26 new episodes expected to bow in the coming year while m4e has confirmed that a Mia and Me feature film is currently in development.

M4e is now home to a library of more than 2,300 episodes featuring some big name brands such as Lizzie McGuire, Mia and me, Tip the Mouse, Miffy, Rainbow Fish and Conni.

In February 2017, the Studio 100 Group acquired a majority interest in m4e. Both companies will now group their national and international activities together under the roof of Studio 100.
