Atlantyca Entertainment has licensed its Geronimo Stilton character to Telecom Italia for a nationwide public service campaign created to teach Italy's children how to use the internet safely.
As part of the national Sail Safe Campaign, a new book featuring the character has been released - The Fabumouse Secrets of the Web. It chronicles Geronimo's misadventures on the internet and gives advice to children in the form of 'Ten Rules for Safe Internet Usage'.
Telecom is distributing 100,000 copies of the book at points of sale throughout Italy, as well as online.
In addition, posters of the character and his ten rules will be given out at schools, with Geronimo undertaking a national tour of Italy.
