Italian publisher Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.a has added the third series of Gormiti to its portfolio.

The firm expanded its existing deal with Giochi Preziosi for the top performing boy's property. It will now produce a range of books based on The Neorganic Evolution, which is co-produced with Marathon Media.

"We have enjoyed working with the team at GP and are delighted with the success of our Gormiti collection," said Fiammetta Giorgi, Mondadori's children's books editorial director. "The extended agreement will mean more exciting literature, which will go hand in hand with Gormiti's third TV series.

"We are thrilled to be publishing new books for the fans across Italy and look forward to the forthcoming years."

Graziano Delmaestro, licensing director at Giochi Preziosi Group, added: "The new deal will see a continuation of high quality and original product for the property, whilst moving the partnership from strength to strength."
