GIRLS MONTH: Ignition adds Precious Moments

Ignition Licensing has been tasked with relaunching the hit 1970s American greetings card brand, Precious Moments, in the UK.

The brand already has an extensive online style guide library, comprising over 11,000 images, focusing on 'love, caring and sharing'.

Aimed at 18 to 49 year olds, the brand expanded out of its North American heartland in 2000 via sub agents in South and Central America and South East Asia. It now has over 100 licensees worldwide and is worth $350 million in sales at retail.

Over 25 million Precious Moments books and 100 million Hallmark cards sell in North America, while 3DS figurines and ornaments are also available.

Ignition will be targeting core product categories including publishing, toys and games, greetings, stationery, gifting and apparel.
