Nickelodeon Consumer Products International has signed a raft of deals across various categories for its girls properties.
In Germany, Kaufmann Neuheiten is to launch Dora the Explorer and iCarly car accessories this summer. The deal, which covers distribution in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, includes a variety of car sunshaes, storage bins, air fresheners, organisers, seatbelt pads and neck pillows, plus back seat protectors.
Meanwhile, Lugar Difusion will roll out Dora and Spongebob accessories in Spain and Portugal. The deal covers clips, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, badges and mirrors amongst others.
Also in Spain, D'Arpeje is producing Dora the Explorer roller skates, roller blades, knee/elbow pads, gloves, helmets and sports bottles.
In two separate deals in South Africa, Dora outerwear and sleepwear is being launched by Seardel, while Rank Sharp has Spongebob Squarepants wellington boots and casual shoes.
In the UK, meanwhile, NCP is inking as many girls' deals for Spongebob Squarepants as it is for more obvious girls properties, with multi-territory agreements at the fore.
Among them, both Dora and Spongebob baking and party products - such as character shaped cake tins and bakery decorations - are launching through Wilton Industries in the UK, Eire, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Benelux and France.
Gemma International is launching a range of Dora greeting cards, gift and roll wrap in the UK, Eire, Cyprus and Malta, while Star Cutouts is focusing on Spongebob, Dora and iCarly in a deal for lifesize cardboard character cut outs.
NCP UK has also signed three separate girl-focused technology deals. Accessories 4 Technology is launching Dora computer console accessories; Lazerbuilt is planning Spongebob mobile phone and MP3 accessories; while Zeon is producing computer accessories and gift lines for Spongebob.
