Golden Bear gets Chloe's Closet master toy

The UK company signs with Moonscoop to make collectables, play-sets, accessories, and plush for autumn/winter 2012.

Moonscoop has appointed Golden Bear as master toy licensee for its girls pre-school show Chloe’s Closet. The deal will initially cover the UK and Ireland with expansion to further European and worldwide territories planned.

The licence includes collectable figurines, character playsets and accessories, small soft toys, talking soft toys and plush sets for the second half of 2012.

Brigitte Legendre-Benloulou, senior VP consumer products and marketing at Moonscoop, said: "The toy potential of Chloe’s Closet is significant so it was essential to find the right partner.

"Golden Bear are leaders in this field so we are very happy they are on board and look forward to rolling out high-quality products in the UK with other territories to follow. This is the first step in a strong global toy programme for the brand."

Chloe’s Closet, has been sold to major TV networks worldwide, has been on CITV in the UK since January 2011. The show is also airing on Turner's new Cartooninto channel in the UK.

Turner Enterprises has been appointed UK licensing and merchandising agent for Chloe’s Closet.
