Gormiti makes headway in France

Licensing programme in territory building, with TV show ready to air in the autumn.

The French licensing programme for hit boys' brand Gormiti is now well underway, with Marathon Media having already signed up 25 partners.

Companies including VTech, Hachette, ATM, Grani, TV Mania and Ertedis have signed up to the programme, with products due to hit French retail shelves in the autumn.

The TV show - Gormiti: The Lord of Nature Return - will kick off on M6 in France, followed by Canal J in the autumn.

Marathon Media handles the French licensing programme through its in-house licensing operation. Giochi Preziosi will oversee the worldwide merchandising programme derived from the TV series on a daily basis, in conjunction with Marathon.

A new TV season, with a fresh design, is scheduled to begin broadcasting in France from autumn 2010 on M6.
