Grumpy Cat is growing its fan base in the US with a host of new licensing partners and special appearances.

Leading the charge, American Greetings has signed with the internet sensation to produce a new range of greetings cards, while Zynga is developing a Grumpy Cat online slot machine game.

Mad Borup is planning a selection of seasonal sweets and food gifts. The first swathe will launch this autumn and will include Grumpy Cat gummies, furball cotton candy, marshmallow pops, cake mix, chocolate novelties and cookie mix.

Completing the line-up, Chronicle Books is planning a third title in its Grumpy Cat book series.

Alongside the new deals, the popular feline has been drumming up support with a number of TV appearances across the US, including co-hosting MTV, attending the Los Angeles premiere of Disney’s Cinderella and fulfilling her role as the face of Friskies cat food at SXSW.
