Licensed toiletries specialist H&A has picked up Disney's Cars brand.

The first line of product will arrive in Boots and Asda stores from January 2012.

Angela Hall, managing director of H&A, said:
“We are delighted with our acquisition of the Disney Pixar Cars licence, this is the sixth Disney licence in our portfolio and with Cars’ fast growing success in the field of merchandise products, we are confident the range will be a huge success.”

The range mixes general toiletries such as bath and shower gel with themed items like the Cars Super Wash Buddy – a Lightning McQueen textile car which doubles as a sponge.

She added: “When looking for value and quality products, consumers look for iconic brands that they can trust, but we also know that the latest trends add excitement to the market. Disney Pixar Cars ticks both these boxes by introducing merchandised products from the latest Disney craze. We’re confident that our creative approach to product development gives retailers a range that their customers will love.”

After a fairly static 2007 and 2008, H&A saw a notable uplift in 2009 and says 2010 promises to be its most successful year yet?
