Harper Collins celebrates 50 years of Richard Scarry

Firm celebrates milestone with anniversary editions of popular titles from children's author.

Harper Collins is celebrating the 50th anniversary of popular children's author, Richard Scarry with a new anniversary title.

The firm will be releasing a commerative edition of Scary's famous title, Best Word Book Ever.

In further celebration, the publishing house will release the first brand new Richard Scarry book in over 20 years - Best Lowly Worm Book Ever.

The title will hit shelves on September 26th.

The firm will also be releasing a giant version of a popular title with the Biggest Word Book Ever.

Richard Scarry's son Huck, said: "what I think is perhaps the most remarkable thing about his books is that they are timeless and know no borders.

"His funny animal characters are equally loved by children anywhere on the planet, and the books he did some 30, 40 even 50 years ago are still being published today."
