Hasbro has named former Walt Disney man Simon Waters as its new SVP of global licensing.
Based in the firm's LA office, Waters will lead Hasbro's global licensing initiatives and will report to global chief marketing officer, John Frascotti.
He most recently served as VP of global franchise development and strategic marketing at The Walt Disney Company.
"An expansive licensing operation is a central piece of our company's strategy as we continue providing immersive brand experiences to consumers around the world," said Frascotti. "We are confident that the leadership Simon demonstrated in driving strategic marketing for iconic brands such as Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse will translate very well as he takes the helm."
