Toy giant Hasbro has new senior management in the UK, after the firm reshuffled its European personnel.
Mark Hoijtink adds the UK and Nordic markets to his current remit of Iberia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland as general manager, Northern Europe. He reports to European president, John Harper.
Foye Pascoe (pictured) has been promoted to country manager for the UK, while Jonathan Evans moves to the newly created position of general manager, customer strategic marketing Europe. He will work closely with key partners in entertainment, licensing, programming and retail.
Meanwhile, Jerry Perez has joined Hasbro in the role of senior vice president and global brand leader for its worldwide pre-school business, based in the US. Perez - who has almost 25 years of experience in the toy business having worked at Learning Curve, Leapfrog and Fisher-Price - will lead global strategy, marketing and merchandising for the firm's pre-school portfolio including Playskool, Mr Potato Head and Play-doh.
He will also lead the global efforts around the Sesame Street toy and co-branded games licence, with the first product rolling out in 2011.
