Hasbro has added a number of key executives to the newly formed LA-based Hasbro Studios.
Industry veteran Stephen David, president of Hasbro Studios, will lead the 'virtual' studio, which will produce shows based on Hasbro's brands, deliver new branded content and produce programmes from third party content creators.
Many of these shows will run on the new TV network created by the joint venture between Hasbro and Discovery Communications, which is planned to debut in autumn 2010.
Davis has named the following execs to form part of the Hasbro Studios management team:
Bob Boden (currently senior VP, programming and production Fox Reality Channel) will be head of reality and game show development and production;
Michael Vogel will serve as head of boys animation;
Brian Charles Lenard becomes head of story development;
Mary Beth Bambridge will be the company's head of finance;
Kevin Healy will serve as Hasbro Studios' head of legal and business affairs.
"There are a number of factors that make heading up Hasbro Studios such an exciting opportunity," commented Davis.
