Classic furniture retailer Heal's is reprinting a selection of its vintage posters.
Back in 1983, when the Heal's family sold the retail business to Terence Conran's Storehouse Group, it gave the archive to the V&A where it is now housed. As well as furniture designs, there are innovative marketing materials - some of the first brichures mailed out to customers in the 1890s.
There are also 70 posters, designed to promote new furniture ranegs and exhibitions in the Mansard Gallery, which opened in 1917. During recent renovations, previously unseen posters have been discovered which will go into the V&A archive.
Some original posters are also in circulation and can be found on specialist poster sale sites. The ones for the Mansard Gallery exhibitions were designed by the artists on show and are highly collectable.
A small collection have now been reprinted - the posters are printed onto handmade paper using fine giclee ink jet printing.
Available in solid, stained black ash frames made in the UK. Larged framed prints are £45 and small framed prints are £25.
