Junction Eighteen has been awarded the UK distribution for Hello Dolly, a New Zealand brand that has won prizes for its tools for women.
Since its launch, the brand has proved a success in the Australian and New Zealand markets; it is now stocked by 3,000 Australasian retailers and enjoys more than 70 per cent brand awareness. Its marketing strapline is 'Create. Make. Liberate. Play.'
And now Hello Dolly has its sights set on the UK. It will officially launch on Junction Eighteen's stand at Spring Fair in Birmingham in February 2008. The firm will initially be offering the DIY Dolly range of tools for women and the Digger Dolly line of gardening tools.
"We are a new company created by women for women," said Hello Dolly founder Angela Beer. "Our aim is to add a little bit of magic to the mundane purchases we have to make."
