Hit adds Betty Crocker to Thomas programme

US deal will see Thomas the Tank Engine-themed fruit flavoured snacks hit the shelves.

Hit Entertainment has signed a deal with Betty Crocker Fruit Flavoured Snacks which will see branded Thomas & Friends products launch from June.

There will be six different fruit flavoured snack characters, including strawberry, grape, orange and cherry. Each pouch will contain 80 calories.

"High quality and tasty options are as important to us as they are to the parents of all Thomas & Friends fans," said Gabriela Arenas, VP, US consumer products, Thomas Division, Hit Entertainment. "We are, therefore, thrilled to have the opportunity to work with General Mills, one of the largest and most trusted brands out there, to bring Thomas & Friends-themed fruit flavoured snacks to families."

Ben Mand, marketing manager for Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, added: "We love providing moms with deliciously fun fruit flavoured snack options for their kids to enjoy."
