New seasons of popular shows added to only 24/7 channel in Latin America.

Hit Entertainment has revealed that Discovery Kids has acquired brand new seasons of shows such as Barney, Bob the Builder and Thomas & Friends.

The channel – which boasts as being the only 24/7 station in Latin America – will air never-before-seen episodes of the shows in both Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. The deal also includes the Thomas special, Calling All Engines.

“We are delighted to be working with Discovery Kids in bringing our characters to life for children in Latin America,” said Rodrigo Piza, VP of television Latin America at Hit. “Barney, Bob the Builder and Thomas have demonstrated their worldwide success in engaging, informing and delighting children around the world.”
