Hit Entertainment confirms Kate Schlomann as new VP, global brand management

Hit Entertainment has appointed Kate Schlomann to the role of VP, global brand management.

Schlomann (pictured) will be based in Hit's London office and will report to SVP Hit Brands, Edward Catchpole.

She will be responsible for guiding the global brand and marketing strategies for existing and new properties in the Hit Brands portfolio including Thomas & Friends, Mike the Knight, Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder.

Schlomann brings more than 15 years of experience to Hit. She joins the firm from FremantleMedia Enterprises, where she held the role of EVP, brand management and marketing.

She has also enjoyed stints at Nickelodeon and Universal Studios.

"Kate has a solid track record in the children's entertainment sector and we are delighted to be welcoming her to the business. She will play a pivotal role in ensuring our brands are well positioned for growth through 2014 and beyond."
