Hit ramps up Mike the Knight programme

Seven new licensees on board for forthcoming pre-school property.

Hit Entertainment is building the licensing campaign for its upcoming Mike the Knight, adding seven partners in the apparel and accessories category.

Aykroyd and TDP (nightwear and underwear), Blues Clothing (outerwear), Trade Mark Collections (bags and luggage), VMC (dress up and accessories), William Lamb (footwear), Shreds (bags and aprons) and Roy Lowe & Sons (socks) have all signed up.

"The response from licensees has been historic," said Tracy Griffiths, senior direct of Hit Brands EMEA. "The fact that so many high profile companies are clamouring to sign with us reinforces our long held view that Mike has all the ingredients to become a major pre-school success."

Mike the Knight is due to air on Cbeebies in the UK, TF1 in France and Treehouse in Canada in the autumn. It is also set to broadcast on ABC Australia, SVT Sweden, NRK Norway and YLE Finland.
