Hit team take on London Marathon challenge

11 execs running 26.2 miles for Pingu's charity, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

While most of us will still be in bed sleeping off Saturday night, a team of runners from Hit Entertainment will be pounding the streets in this year's London Marathon on Sunday.

The group will be raising money for Pingu's chosen charity the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This is the only charitable organisation in the world with the primary objective of finding the cure for type one diabetes and its complications.

The team consists of Jo Adamson (UK licensing manager, toys and games), Jo Fricker (UK licensing manager, soft goods), Alison Green (senior product development manager, EMEA), David Brown (accounts assistant), James Gillard (participation analyst), Philip Ranger (SVP international development), James Thackwell (graphic designer) and Thekla Orfanos (programming distribution executive, EMEA).

They will be joined in the challenge by Darran Garnham (senior VP of sales and marketing at Kidz Entertainment), Nicky Ellingford and Paul Beaumont.
