Hit teams with Exim Tech to boost Barney's digital presence in Latin America

Hit Entertainment is teaming up with Exim Technology to expand the digital presence of Barney.

The partnership will see the launch of a new website, social media channels and apps developed specifically for children and families in Latin America. 

The two companies are also partnering for a digital launch of Fireman Sam Sam on YouTube and social media in Colombia, Chile, and Peru.

The digital extensions for both Barney and Fireman Sam will roll out later this month.

“It’s important for us to engage families where they are, moms can learn more about the brands on social media, and kids can engage with our website and apps,” said Sid Mathur, vice president, the Americas, Hit Entertainment.

“We know that Barney is extremely popular in Latin America, and partnering with Exim Tech, who knows the market so well, we are dedicated to continuing to build these brands and our entire preschool portfolio in this important region.”

The new Barney website will boast brand information, character bios, games, activities, a parent section and videos. 

Barney will also star in three new apps for Latin America, including Learn English with Barney, Barney’s Paint & Find game app, and an app with interactive Barney video clips and a music rhythm game.
