Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has revealed a number of new deals for Dora the Explorer and Spongebob Squarepants across Europe.

In France, the firm has inked a deal with local toy manufacturer Jemini to produce Spongebob branded plush and car accessories. The products will launch in December.

Meanwhile, in a first ever agreement of its kind, NVCP has brokered a sub-licence deal between Denmark-based KE Mathiasen Group and global partner Take Two. This will see the former's local gaming subsidiary launch Dora the Explorer branded games on Nintendo DS across the Nordic region.

The two-year deal means that Dora Saves the Snow Princess will hit Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden from February 2010.

Moving onto Israel, and Creative Toys is launching a line of Spongebob branded board games in time for Christmas.

Finally, in Germany, NVCP is celebrating after scooping Best Licensed Product of the Year at the recent LIMA Awards for the limited edition Spongebob cardboard boxes and courier envelopes. These were developed in collaboration with DHL Deutschland.
