Hot Topic opens doors of Harry Potter boutiques

Stores in US and Canada to feature exclusive merchandise area dedicated to final film.

Warner Bros Consumer Products and retail partner Hot Topic have created exclusive Harry Potter merchandise boutiques in-store.

With the first part of the final film - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - due to release in the US on November 19th, the dedicated boutiques will feature all-new products inspired by the character at each of Hot Topic's 680 locations in the US and Canada.

In addition, an in-store mobile application will offer challenges and rewards.

Apparel available will include exclusive Gryffindor and Slytherin polo and tie combination tees, plus bags, throws, jewellery, key chains, stationery and posters.

"We are delighted to once again team up with Hot Topic to create these unique boutiques," said Karen McTier, EVP, domestic licensing and worldwide marketing at WBCP. "The offerings are quite extensive and fans of all ages will be excited once they step inside the stores and immerse themselves in the film-inspired product."
