Entertainment One has renewed HTI's deal for its Peppa Pig property until 2013.

A raft of new role-play items will now launch, including a medical case, a pull-along vacuum cleaner and a tea party picnic set.

"Peppa Pig has been one of the most successful children's programmes over the last few years and it is now a flagship licence in our portfolio," explained Andrew Coplestone, licensing director at HTI. "Signing this new deal has given us the opportunity to revitalise our existing range and to bring some new and innovative products to the market."

Hannah Mungo, eOne's head of UK licensing, added: "We are delighted to be extending our relationship with HTI, who have been a Peppa licensee since 2005. We look forward to continuing our successful relationship and supporting HTI as they prepare to bring a fantastic new range of Peppa products to market."
